Alan French: The Rosemary Kids on Summer Island

Rose and her best friend Mary spend their holidays on a Greek island. It could have been a perfectly boring holiday — if they hadn’t stumbled into a refugee camp and made friends with Aysha and her little brother who’ve just arrived from Syria.

Beautifully illustrated by artist Dave Windett. A fairy tale for the citizens of tomorrow. A fact-book at the end of the story explains the lives and problems of Mediterranean refugees in an easy to understand way.
